how do i transfer my data to thebu2iness.com?

there are 3 ways to import your data into thebu2iness.com, which are all straight forward and easy.

1. your negotiators manually add all live data: this is the most accurate way of adding all live applicants and property details into thebu2iness.com, and also a great way for your team to learn how to use the website as they go.
2. we can do it for you: this is the option that you will love the most! however, your staff wont get used to using the site until all data is live and ready for you to use (and we don't need the practice- we all know how to use the website!).
3. an automatic "swap" from your old system: simply supply us with an automatic data feed from your old system and all of your information can be ported across. however, this option does rely on the fact that the information was entered into the old system accurately (as this will only be a mirror copy).

how is my data backed up?

• thebu2iness.com has a daily negotiator and branch manager backup function, which provides personalised text back-up files with all the information you need about your properties, applicants, clients and diaries (if you're using them). this is emailed to an email address specified by you, once a month, once a week or daily, depending on which option you choose on the "my company setting" page.

can i use the system as a database for mailing?

• yes. you can mail contacts by email, letter or labels. contacts can be chosen manually, or from a 'search by contact' type, or from a match of their requirements stored in thebu2iness.com.

where is my information stored and how secure is it?

• the information is stored in high powered servers in a secure, professional hosting environment. all of your company information is safe and it is also possible for you to do back-ups to an email address of your own choice, as often as you wish. this way, you can be safe in the knowledge that you can access your information whenever you want to.

who owns the data and can i get it back out?

• the data is always yours and can never be used by us. if you decide to leave thebu2iness.com we can export the data for you, so long as you have been using the system for more than 3 months.

can property information be exported to the leading property portals?

• yes of course - and its free! we upload to primelocation, rightmove, property finder, findaproperty and property live. if the portal is not already on our list it can usually be added, but there may be a time delay. we also have direct feeds to globrix.

is it easy to transfer all the data from my current software to thebu2iness.com?

• very easy- there are a few ways of transferring the information from your current program to ours. either, your negotiators can enter the data into thebu2iness.com manually, allowing them to really get to grips with how 'thebu2iness.com' works. or we can enter the information for you, or you can supply us with an automatic data feed directly from your old system, so all the information can be transferred straight over to thebu2iness.com.

• yes, you can enable or disable automatic messages to applicants, for example when they are matched with a property, by selecting the appropriate settings in the 'company settings' page in thebu2iness.com. you can then manually email your applicants if you choose to.

• of course. although there are savings to be made if you pay in advance, starting from 4 months at 4% discount.
